Man, ESPN2 just show Tommy Smith and Andy having heated discussion on this game and poor Judy didn't know what to do.  That was real funny.

a play with Germany there almost identical to the one with Carter/Scotland in the TT-Jamaica game last night and the ref let play go on..

For me it was a bad call and Andy Gray is alluding as much.

Where is the line drawn as to where interfering with the play is concerned?

Maybe 2-1, 1-0 Germany now, that offside trap could kill them today

Goal: Lukas Podolski scores to put Germany in front.

How ironic, the Polish-born player scores against the country of his birth.

If England want to make waves on the world stage, dey need tuh swallow dey collective pride and start giving citizenships tuh more talented players who can't make dey country's side. All them other big countries doing in so why not England? Who would have thought the day would come when a player with last name Gomez line up for Germany. Win at all cost not or win nothing and like it!

I was throwing stuff at the TV after they threw that away. Lucky for them they made up for it in the 20th minute.

the commentator said that Roger Guerreiro who just came on for Poland. got his Polish citizenship two months ago. Brazilian roots I think
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Gomez dad is Spanish - he coulda played for them, too.
Odonkor is German born but as a father from Ghana
Asamoah was born in Ghana and naturalized
Jimmy Hartwig and Erwin Kostedde were sons of African American GI's
