ok. look a better side here.

Provisional Germany squad for Euro 2012

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Tim Wiese (Werder Bremen), Ron Robert Zieler (Hannover), Marc-André ter Stegen (Borussia Mönchengladbach); Holger Badstuber, Jérôme Boateng, Philipp Lahm (all Bayern Munich), Benedikt Höwedes (Schalke), Mats Hummels, Marcel Schmelzer (both Borussia Dortmund), Per Mertesacker (Arsenal); Sven Bender, Mario Götze, Ilkay Gundogan (all Borussia Dortmund), Lars Bender, Andre Schürrle (both Bayer Leverkusen), Julian Draxler (Schalke), Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller, Bastian Schweinsteiger (all Bayern Munich), Sami Khedira, Mesut Ozil (both Real Madrid), Marco Reus (Borussia Monchengladbach); Lukas Podolski (Cologne), Cacau (Stuttgart), Mario Gomez (Bayern Munich), Miroslav Klose (Lazio).

Yuh look at that squad and is pace through and through...

Big, big keeper in Neuer.. A solid defence with Lahm, Hummels, Boateng and Holger...  Then a midfield with the usual suspects, add in the Dortmund men like Sven Bender and Gotze.. Then a proven finisher in Gomez up top, with Podolski and Klose in the mix..

I have Germany down as my favourites to win it all..

I feel Spain will fall off this tournament with no fit or in form striker (Torres/Villa/Pedro), Puyol out injured and Pique tootoolbay on Shakira off form...

I looking for the Germans and the Dutch to go far.

whey Dinho Llorente & Soldado eh getting no love from you at all. I think Llorente will give Spain a different look (option) in attack. For me a potential bigger factor is fatigue of their key players.

Italy have an interesting selection and we all know they are a Tournament team. With Cassano & Pirlo they have  genuine playmakers. Scoring goals seems to be their weakness at the moment, but with Ballo, DiNatale & Cassano, if they find form problems could be solved.

It about time the Italians due a trophy, well at least a good run have been really poor since the '06 world cup .....hopefully Pirlo still have the legs if he playing well then Italy will have a good chance, I goining with a top three with Ballo Di Nattalie and cassano , with giovinco from the bench

Italy have not won this tournament since their only time in 1968. Came close in 2000, though. Never like them pesonally. but that does not mean they eh good.

This pic epitomizes my major concern with Italy for this tournament....

Might be strong up front and in the middle but sorely lacking in the back.

After Chiellini, that defence eh looking solid at all. I hope they not planning to start Ranocchia in the hole, have not been impressed by that youth. Maybe they should just stick with an all Juventus back line and build from there.

Also, nothing much to talk about on the wings so I assume they going 4-3-3 with 3 central midfielders. Glad to see Simone Pepe not on the side, he is a next waste of break but would have liked to see Giuseppe Rossi on there.

Sincerely hope this is a break out tournament for Balotelli.

FORZA ITALIA!!!

Think Rossi has been hurt for most of the season - probably still hurt or not yet fit.
