Team of the tournament so far.

Buffon

Gebre Selassie
Alba
Hummels
AN Other (probably Sivok or Piqué. Woulda be Chiellini if not for the Croatia goal)

Gerrard
Pirlo
Iniesta
Schweinsteiger
Sneijder

Gomez

Notable mentions for Lescott, Cole, Debuchy, Khedira, Pilar, Jarocek, Ronaldo, Bendtner, Cassano

High praise... considering how shaky these three start out.  Lescott did have that early goal though... and yeah, from Game 2 Selassie really start coming into his own.  Cole has also gotten better as the games have gone on.

Interesting re: Lescott. Has he been the consensus weak link @ Man City in anyone's view?

Did I just see another handshake ceremony after half-time... then game start at 50 mins?  ESPN engaging in creative editing or what?

EDIT:  Didn't know anything about Jiracek coming in, but very good player.  Tough as nails... look like Vlad de Impaler  :rotfl:

Its looking like only a matter of time that Portugal score.
The Czech Republic look like they could do with an in-form rosicky in the middle. a lot of industry, but not much guile

We fortunate up here in our TV feeds. The network broadcasting the matches uses the international commentary feed for euro 2012.  However the pre, halftime and post game commentary coverage is canadian with guest Darren Anderton (former Spurs - useless).
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
