I find the Germans refusing to learn from what got them their goal in the first place....when a team doggedly defending like this, yuh have to take any shot from any range yuh could get.....especially (1) on a wet surface aand (2) with a GK that spilling so many balls.  They insist on trying to pass, pass, pass into an optimum position and overlook all the opportunities for deflections and corner kicks and even goals they could get.
