Bexit rather than Brexit.

Belgium haven't done anything in the air today.

Agreed.....none of their "stars" showed up.  Their offence really needed to dig deep to compensate for the lack of regular starters in the defence.....

I count them Belgian chickens way too soon!

As a neutral that game was pure entertainment.
Belgium continue to play in a naive kinda way. They keep getting caught on counter attacks.
Italy did the same thing to them.
They have all the skill a coach could want but they look like they don't know the level of intensity it takes to go far in a tournament.

I thought it couldn't get better than the Belgium goal but I was wrong. The 2nd Wales goal was pure cultured beauty. Every touch was perfect.
And the mudda tail turn, lawd!
The defenders run and gone leaving the striker with the whole goal to shoot at. I couldn't believe he actually pulled that off.
Beautiful football!

Not sure what going on with this Belgian 'Golden Age' nah... Dem men have all the talent but can't seem to take it to the next level.

Glad to see the games are much better in quality as we get closer to the finals. The Portugal vs Croatia game was dreadful, but the match today was action packed...

Shaka just said, which makes a lot of sense, that the difference between Wales and Portugal is the ability of the star player to influence those around him and so far Bales is doing the better job.

Happy for wales. And Iceland is prof that with the good coaching and the right player attitude a small country can compete. I only wish that T&T could do the same.

Fouls and Misconduct

Handling the ball

Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the
ball with the hand or arm.
The following must be considered:
• the movement of the hand towards the ball (not the ball towards the hand)
• the distance between the opponent and the ball (unexpected ball)
• the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an
infringement
• touching the ball with an object held in the hand (clothing, shinguard, etc.)
is an infringement
•  hitting the ball with a thrown object (boot, shinguard, etc.) is an
infringement

........perhaps this is what the refree applied??  I interpret "not necessarily" to mean its possible the position of the hand could result in a penalty......

To my lay man's eyes Boateng hand in de air like just looked like a no no.....ent the guide/rule is doh put yuh hand in a position like to that to avoid exactly what the ref probably blow for??
