St Ann's Rangers and Economy North East Stars took a point each from their meeting yesterday evening at the Hasely Crawford Stadium as the T&T Pro League resumed after a three-week break.
Neither club offered their supporters much excuse for nostalgia in a scrappy affair riddled with errors.
Stars goalkeeper Tristan Charles made the most glaring cock up.
Eighteen minutes into the fixture, Charles failed to control a simple back pass and then compounded his sin by trying to dribble free of challenging Rangers forward Shem McFarlane.
McFarlane won the ball and teed up teammate Devon Modeste for a simple conversion in an empty net.
Thankfully, Charles' error was not decisive.
Two minutes later, Rangers defender Coneal Thomas failed to clear and Akiel Guevara followed up on Anthony Wolfe's effort to equalise.
Stars went ahead in the 68th minute with a clever lobbed finish from Sean Cooper. But a draw seemed a fairer result and Rangers managed it through substitute Keyon Edwards in the 79th minute.
