well mums now tell me she turned on the radio when it was at the half and T&T were leading 4-1 at that point..no idea what the final score was

Sisters Kristen and Samantha Mewis Combine For First-Ever U.S. U-17 WNT World Cup Qualifying Goal. Courtney Verloo, Samantha Mewis Each Score A Brace. U.S. Next Faces El Salvador at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 20.

MACOYA, Trinidad (July 18, 2008) - The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team defeated Costa Rica, 6-0, in the team's opening match of the 2008 CONCACAF Under-17 Women's Championship at Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, Trinidad. Sisters Kristen and Samantha Mewis combined for the team's first goal just three minutes into the match.

Samantha Mewis scored twice in the match, also putting home the team's last goal. Courtney Verloo added two goals and two assists, whil Victoria DiMartino and Julia Roberts each added a goal. Roberts' goal came from the penalty spot as DiMartino took a shot in the 25th minute that was stopped on the line by Costa Rican defender Gabriela Guillen's outstretched arm. Guillen was sent off from the match, leaving Costa Rica with 10 women.

Tired of the truth. Let's see what the group setup will be for the 2008 CFU Youth Cup and if there will be any changes done by Jack when it comes to the knockout round of the competition.

Costa Rica can be beaten. They are a little more easier to beat then Canada or Mexico.
