Just how good was Cech in goal repelling everything that came his way.. Especially the slightest of touches to put a Messi shot onto the post.

How good was Bosingwa, coming on to fill in at right back when Cahill got injured then having to fill in at centre half when Terry got sent off?

How great was Ivanovic throughout the entire game?

How good was Cole locking down the left?

How good was the discipline and defensive positioning of Mikel, Meireles and Lampard?

How good was Ramires, a beauty of a goal and solid filling in at right back.

How great was Drogba?

Kalou... As always constantly raising man blood pressure but at least he track back.

Torres, thanks for neglecting your defensive duties and liming up by the half line.

Bess fellahs, just bess!

Sunday's game against QPR go be interesting, seeing as we have no defenders left....Luiz injured, Cahill injured, Ivanovic suspended and Terry has played 3 games in 9 days with cracked ribs...

Not that the Premier League matters anymore lol...

A year ago this fella was being talked about as the new Ozil...potentially a bess deal

Chelsea agree deal to sign Marko Marin from Werder Bremen

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/28/chelsea-marko-marin-werder-bremen

Chelsea have confirmed that they have agreed a deal to sign the Werder Bremen attacking midfielder Marko Marin.

A fee has been agreed for the Serbian-born Germany international and the deal will be concluded when the transfer window re-opens in the summer. Sky Germany are reporting that Chelsea will pay in the region of €8m (£6.5m) for the 23-year-old.

Marin, who joined Bremen from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2009 and was contracted to the club until June 2013, has already passed a medical in London and will sign a contract in the next few weeks, according to his current club. Speaking ahead of Bremen's Bundesliga match with Wolfsburg today, Marin said he cannot wait to play in the Premier League.

"I had a really good time with Werder together with many great guys here, and I have lots of nice memories, but of course I am looking forward to the challenge of playing in the Premier League with such an established club," he said.

Marin made his Germany debut in 2008 and was part of their 2010 World Cup squad. However, he has spent much of this season on the sidelines due to injury and is not assured of a place in Joachim Low's squad for Euro 2012. He has made just 21 appearances this season, scoring one goal

Bremen's director of sport Klaus Allofs said in a statement: "We have always said that we would be open to talk if any of our players receives a good offer which was also interesting for Werder and we had good talks with the management at Chelsea, so that we were able to reach an agreement quickly. In the coming weeks, we will then deal with the last formalities. We wish Marko all the best for this new challenge."

There have been suggestions that Chelsea may loan striker Romelu Lukaku, signed for £17m from Anderlecht last summer, to Bremen for the 2012-13 season as part of the deal but this has not been confirmed.

the new ozil? truthfully he was talked about BEFORE ozil in germany.....Ozil was considered a lil less than him when he was at schalke then Ozil joined him at Werder Bremen and Thomas Schaff threw Marin out on the wing and gave Ozil the prefered FREE  ROLE and Ozil blossomed...the rest as they say is history.... Marko is a VERY good player he can play on the wings but he is more influential behind the striker in the hole...yes he is a right footed Mata. Injuries hamper him this year but before the rise of Gotze in germany the belief was that Marin and Ozil were the best young creative germans for the manschaft . Not sure if he will make their euro squad but he is quality so i wouldnt be surprised if he was in it.

Good buy for CHelsea...young (23) and with bags of ability . good that they got him cheap and quick (6.5mil) hope we can lure Eden Hazaard to the club too

Somebody should tell QPR the game start.

3-0 in the 20th minute.
4-0 in the 25th minute.

Terry, Sturridge, Torres, Torres

Yep, it seems as if Torres has returned to his vintage form.

Nice composed finish to complete his hat trick.

This is a long way from the empty net miss versus Man Utd all those months ago.

Marin is an excellent player. Very good for Chelsea as he can play deep in a midfield two. $0 Million for Modric or 8M for Marin, I will take Marin every day of the week.

Another excellent performance today, Di Matteo has taken a page out of Sir Alex's book by having faith in the entire squad and they are rewarding him handsomely. Almost every single player has upped their game since he took over. I hope he gets the job full time (even if Pep so tusty for de job that he quit Barca immediately after the game lol...if u cant beat em, join em, right Pep?).

Great centre forward play by Torres today, Stamford Bridge was almost in disbelief. For once he wasn't trying to be a winger. Its about time he started taking a few shots, hopefully he can do it again against a better team on Wednesday (Newcastle). Sturridge had a terrific first half....he tracked back for most of the game and for once his first option was to pass rather than dribble and he looked superb....maybe he realises that the only way he will get a sweat in one of the cup finals is by being more of a team player.

Moment of the match: Ramires came on to a standing ovation late on thanks to his heroics in Barca...and the previously unheralded player was serenaded to the tune of Guantanamera with "song for Ramires, we need a song for Ramires"  :rotfl:
