Cuban Soccer Team Wins Two and Loses One in Germany

HAVANA, Cuba, July 24 (acn) The Cuban national soccer team recorded two wins and one loss in friendly games against German soccer clubs, in its second tour to Germany this year.

In the Günther Volker Stadion, the Cuban team coached by German Reinhold Franzteam defeated TuS Celle FC five to one, with three goals by striker Roberto Linares and one a piece for Leonel Duarte and Hensy Muñoz and then beat SV Ramlingen 6-2, before losing 7-0 to Sankt Pauli's team. 

After six games in the tour, Cuba´s balance is 21 goals in favour and 15 against. 

The Caribbean team is getting ready for semi-final games in the NORCECA qualifiers to South Africa 2010, where it will face off against Trinidad and Tobago, the United States and Guatemala in home-and-away matches.

The first game will be against Trinidad and Tobago in Havana's Pedro Marrero Stadium August 20.

Williams and rickettes are the only 2 from that list that will likely be in the squad for the world cup qualifier next month. El Salvador were at full strength, with only one of their regular starters missing due to pre-season with his Costa rican club. Almost all their players are based in El Salvador.
