Jabloteh off to Mexico, Public to host Brujas
ttproleague.com

TT Pro League clubs San Juan Jabloteh and Bmobile Joe Public will be playing out their cards this week as they seek places in the 2010-2011 CONCACAF Champions’ League Group Stage.

Both sides seek remaining Group B spots. Group B already hosts seeded teams Colombus Crew of the Major League Soccer and Guatemalan side CSD Municipal.

Jabloteh face an uphill task, needing a two-goal victory, against home side Club Santos Laguna of Mexico on Wednesday night after going under 1-0 in the first-leg at the Marvin Lee Stadium last week.

Meantime the chances of Joe Public advancing after this week’s second-leg remains strong against Brujas on Thursday at the Marvin Lee Stadium from 8pm. The defending Digicel Pro League Champions lead by the away goals system after earning a late 2-2 draw in the first-leg at home to the Costa Ricans.

Jabloteh who made it to last season’s CCL Group Stage, left Trinidad on Sunday, a day after their 4-2 penalty win over Ma Pau SC in the quarterfinal round of the Lucozade Sport Goal Shield following a 1-1 fulltime result.

Jabloteh coach Terry Fenwick aware of the challenges previously stated that the Mexicans are favourites to advance but promised to challenge the odds.

His side went under to an 83rd minute item by attacker Rodrigo Ruiz after holding the quick paced Santos(utilizing their youthful dept) for most of the match.

On Thursday Joe Public will look to use its home advantage at the Macoya venue to earn a second Group Stage appearance since the inception of the CCL.

Little or no changes are expected in head coaches Derek King and Ralph Nelson's squad which includes first-leg goalscorers Kerry Baptiste and Trent Noel for Thursday's second-leg clash against Brujas.

It have two Guerra on de team.

Like Fenwick drop Cyrano Glen, Christon Thomas and Noel Williams.

Willis Plaza, Sheldon Bateau and Eiljah Manners should start.

They carrying one keeper.

I sure de writer made a mistake, knowing de pro league site.

But fitness is the key for Jabloteh.
Faster than a speeding pittbull
Stronger than a shot of ba-bash
Capable of storming any fete
