thanks Nachs man NBC real sticking on track this round boi ,the olympics to big for 1 station.

so we have to wait to see if he qualify or he out ?

from what i seeing mikel still have decent chance to qualify for the next round. top 4 from each heat and 8 fastest outside. so far he's 3rd fastest outside top 4 with 2 heats to go

NBC's overriding policy is that all the big ticket events should be shown in primetime.  once you accept that, everything is easy to figure out.

they even influence the organizers of the swimming to change the format (traditionally the finals would be at night, they have finals in the morning in China) so the finals could be live in primetime in the US.

they not trying to spite anybody, they just trying to maximize the number of eyeballs they could sell advertisers.
