Scotland vs Norway...Ray Hudson strikes again!
« on: October 11, 2008, 09:35:40 AM »
Dis man had me on de floor jes now.

Scotland have a black man playin fuh dem...Ilewumo....Nigerian faddah...Scottish modder.  He come on as a sub fuh McFadden which de crowd didn't too like in de fuss place but Hudson commentatin de game fuh Gol TV singin he praises sayin how de fella scorin goals fuh fun fuh Wolves.....7 goals in 8 games etc.

Well de man conjure up one a de misses of de century.  WCQ...he debut....score 0-0..playin at Hampden Park...he could go down in Scottish lore as a hero...and de man get a ball inside de 6 yard box....wit de closest man anywhere even close to him is he own teammate....and de man manage to miss de target from about a yard from de goal line.  He kick wide.  It was wuss dan Alibey.  Wusserer dan de one Stern unscore a couple seasons ago.

Hear Ray Hudson..."this was toilet bowl finishing of epic proportions!".  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Where dis man does cojme up wit dese tings?... ;D

Was that the worst miss of all time?
Scotland striker Chris Iwelumo's horrendous miss against Norway was bad - but was it the worst ever? Have your say

I would like to hear his colour commentary on Carlos picking out the keeper in a wide open net last nite.

However, some real howlers here (I think these misses are worse than Iwelumo's):
C. Ronaldo

D. Forlan

Note the common thread.

Is Iwelumo related to Maurice Alibey?

Dat miss bring back memories of Alibey's infamous exploits in front of goal.

Watchin d Athletic Bilbao vs Barca on GOL TV now...classic bit of talk between Ray and the other commentator earlier.

He was saying that Barca is one of the few teams does receive a friendly reception when they come to Bilbao because of similarities between the Basque region wey Bilbao is and Catalunya wey Barca from. He say is unlike d reception teams like Real Madrid get when they come to Bilbao which does be very feisty. Ray went on to say is kinda like he ex-marriage, so d next man ask him which one he mean...friendly or feisty...Ray reply was that well it was both...and in d same breath with extremely dry english humour say 'I Love You Joan'

The guy did miss a "certain" goal, but the ball was coming across real fast and his body was not positioned right to tap in the goal. But a miss is a miss.
