P'Ville edge Princes Town.
T&T Express Reports.

Pleasantville Senior Comprehensive completed a 1-0 victory over Princes Town Senior Comprehensive at Guraracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre yesterday in one of two rescheduled BG T&T Secondary Schools Football League South Zone matches.

In the other game, at Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, Presentation College San Fernando and St Benedict's College drew 1-1, while in the North Zone, the Trinity College versus St Anthony's College match was not played as there were no officials at the ground in Moka.

Cultis Carrington's 85th minute strike was all Pleasantville needed to seal the three points and move out of last position in the South Zone standings, with Princes Town now propping up the table. At Marabella, Kai Pope-Cupid gave Pres the lead in the 46th minute, only to see Troy Moses hit the back of the net four minutes later for St Benedict's.

Action in the SSFL continues today with the Trinity College Under-16 team taking on Malick Senior Comprehensive at Moka, while the Trinity senior team will also have home advantage when they take on Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive tomorrow. Both matches kick off at 4 p.m.

Yesterday's SSFL results:

North Zone

Trinity College vs St Anthony's--Did not play

South Zone

Pleasantville 1 (Cultis Carrington 85th) vs Princes Town 0

Pres San Fernando 1 (Kai Pope-Cupid 46th) vs St Benedicts 1 (Troy Moses 50th)
North Zone match off again
T&T Newsday Reports.

Trinity College and St Anthony’s will have to play their rescheduled BGTT Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) North Zone match at another date.

The match, which was due to take place yesterday, was cancelled due to the no-show of officials at the Moka, Maraval venue. This is the second setback for both teams, after their initial meeting on September 27 was postponed due to inclement weather.

Meanwhile, a pair of rescheduled South Zone games took place yesterday, with Pleasantville edging Princes Town 1-0 while Presentation San Fernando were held to a 1-1 draw by St Benedict’s. Action in all five zones continue tomorrow.
