Although I agree with the sentiments of the writer about developing players, that is what maturanan tried to do by omitting Yorke, Latapy, and other senior players, but they were brought back to rescue us from the shame of not making the Hex. You can't develop players in a must win game. The time for that was immediately after the last WC - between 2006 and 2008. But we were being fools as usual and all of a sudden we want to train and develop players. Pure bull. The opportunity to develop now is in the Digicel Cup and if the team does not get better without Yorke and Latapy then we will have to call them again.
