How does Rooney not get sent off?
« on: November 01, 2008, 10:48:02 AM »
Drop ball.

De man pelt a kick at de opposin player knee blatant right in front de referee

Ball come loose...a opposin player comin een, get de ball and Rooney dive right een wit BOTH FEET again right in front de ref

Rooney gets a yellow.

But no...it doh stop dey....he cussin de ref.  Den he turn to take on de 4th official.

NUTTING.  Even de commentators does defend him.

De hypocrisy and double standrds where Rooney is concerned in de english game is laughable.  It used to be de same wit Alan Shearer.

show class to a thread that doesnt deserve it?

If it was red card offense he would have gotten it... he got a deserved yellow...Fergie should have taken him off before though...he was becoming frustrated with himself for not scoring or getting the ball and Fergie left him on for assholes like Palos and the british media to start conversations about him... He is a winner and if things not going his way he will fully commit to dive in for any tackle..which is both stupid and brave..

if he would just play he game and not as you say "if things not going his way he will fully commit to dive in for any tackle......which is both stupid and brave.." because he IS a better footballer than that.
and to see refs not calling calls is very frustrating indeed

I apologize, but I not dissing Hull. You have to admit though that Hull is no Historypool, Barcelona, or Milan.

hypocrisy? Steups

how come Hull wasnt down to 10 men (before their come back) when Micheal Turner - their last defender brought down Carrick? That defender was on a yellow already. he should've been sent off, yet no one talking about that. Poor refereeing again.

Rooney is not a skilled player he is  just a  agressive player who is willing to go the extra mile to do watever it takes to get the ball , running people over or pushing them out the way, which intimidate alot of these players .but at the end of the day he is overrated ,a bake in my mind no real foot skills just a hustle player with strenght . the media pushes who they want to   with out a superior supporting cast feeding him the ball he is shit put him on hull see wat he does.

Mose I believe that was in a CL game not an EPL game. I believe their are players who get away with a lot more than others in the EPL.

As a part of the Glory, Glory nation, I would say f**k... but you are right, the image that comes to mind if you picture Rooney is "aggressive" or "thug". He is by far a more aggressive player than most players in the Premiership. When it comes to genuine skill, not someone you associate "artistry or finesse"

But he get's dem goals in.... could take a lesson out of gascoigne's play book not behaviour...

Totally disagree.  Rooney is a very skilled player IMO.  One of the most skilled English players to come along in recent years.  Don't let his aggression fool you.  Dat yute can flat out play.

When Rooney can display and get away with this type of behaviour .... and you have ManUre apologists all over the world condoning this type of boorish behaviour because of blind allegiance - the result is all types of nonsenscial cult-like behaviour when Rooney gets caught and actually punished .... a la the WC vs. Portugal for blatantly STAMPING on a man's nuts. All of a sudden the ref wrong.

(Funny how the man that "get him sent off" - C. Ronaldo - was supposed to be banished from ManUre for putting country ahead of ManUre. Then he was supposed to get booed/ banished because he put Real Madrid ahead of ManUre. Yet both times the fairweather fans bend over backwards to let C. Ronaldo return to continue putting EVERYTHING ahead of ManUre.)

Rooney shave he head by Rio barber and he looking like a retarded bleached disfigured ninja turtle. Because yuh ugly doh mean yuh have to act chupid too. It eh have no extra glory points in that.
