Joe Public slip in Super League.
T&T Express Reports.

Joe Public slipped up terribly when they were defeated 2-1 by Tobago club Angostura 1976 Phoenix in a midweek bmobile National Super League match.

Joe Public had pulled level at 1-1 through defender Anthony Noreiga, after Andell Noray put Phoenix ahead in the 34th minute.

Noreiga, the Trinidad and Tobago defender who suffered a head injury against the United States at the CONCACAF Gold Cup a year ago, netted in the 68th, but Joel Alleyne ensured that Phoenix went away with full points, getting the winner in the 77th minute.

Defending champions WASA FC took advantage of Joe Public's downfall, but had a battle on their hands against second-from-bottom M&M Harvard, finally winning 3-2 on Thursday.

WASA twice came from behind to equalise, before Stevon Stoute's 80th minute goal gave them the winner. WASA now hold a seven-point lead over Joe Public, but the latter have played two matches less. The teams were scheduled to meet today, but that game has been rescheduled to November 18.

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

Ah see Adrian Narine score for Harlem Strikers. Like he did his time for drug trafficking in the UK and came out and start back playing ball. Nice, hope he improve while in jail as I am sure is nuff ball does pass in jail...
