Present National Team

Men talking football and the general concensus is that this present National team
is one of the least talented in many years, yet playing some of the best football.
Yes the back line suspect, but that is maninly because our wing backs are really converted
stoppers.

This team have no Yorke, Stern, Latapy, Nixon,  Lawrence, Shaka or Ince.
Not even an Eve, Nakid or Dwarika, but yet they competing.

Not much to work with in truth, but some how the team working.

The team has not achieved anything major for you to start this type of conversation. Yes they have played 'ok' thus far but still alot of improvement if we are to qualify for the WC. We are not playing our best football. Not with that type of defense. We reach the quarterfinal of a GC and the final of a Caribbean Cup. Ok that is good

We tend to start praising national teams before they even jump over the first hurdle. The first WC qualifying match for us is yet to be played but we start this shit talk already.

What is it that triggered this topic? Is it the 3-3 tie against Mexico?

Football is a Team game as Leo said it is 11vs 11. Granted this team has no big names a la Latapy,  Yorke, Dwarika but give it time and Cato, Molino. Jones, Cummings and Bateau will be household names.
 What this team has is heart and a never say die attitude. A work in progress.
