The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today are Christians who acknowledge Jesus ;with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

Soca Warriors begin Honduras preparations
Published: March 14th, 2009

Dwight Yorke
Soca Warriors coach, Colombian Francisco Maturana, will resume training today for T&T’s next 2010 Concacaf Final Round World Cup qualifier to take place on March 28 against Honduras with a session at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva from 9.30am.

T&T Under-20 trio Sean De Silva, Robert Primus and captain Leston Paul, who helped T&T qualify for the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt from September 24 to October 16 after reaching the Concacaf Under-20 semifinals, have been drafted into the senior team ahead of Wednesday’s friendly versus Panama at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, from 7 pm. Maturana said, “The door is always open to players to represent the country at the international level and now we have asked these players to join the team and we shall take it forward from here.”

Spann----James----Lawrence---Edwards

Carlos----Hyland---Roberts->---<-Daniel

----Latas (orScotland)-----Kenwyne

Two things which work against this line up
1.Is Lawerence up to it seeing he had his cheek bone broken
2.How fit is Roberts after having surgery

Thats would my line up

For what its worth, here is a so-so translation of an article from a Honduran Newspaper today:

See what you can garner from it......

Today the summoned ones by Wheel will be known
16 Mondays March 2009

Today the technician Reinaldo Rueda will present the list players for the games before Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico.
TEGUCIGALPA. - The hour for the second and third game from hexagonal the eliminatory course to South Africa 2010, for the Honduran selection is more and more close, the Colombian technician Reinaldo Rueda will today give the official list of the players who will conform the two-color pencil for the commitments before Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico.

In the list of selected they are expected the return of elements like Julio Caesar “Rambo” Leon of the Parma and of Edgar Alvarez of Pisa, both equipment of series “B” of Italian soccer and that has not been used by the strategist in the last commitments of the national selected one.

But this will be known until today in hours of the noon, when the technician in press conference officially gives the listing of the soccer players that thinks to use for these two eliminatory games.

The conference will be in the offices of the National Federation of Soccer of Honduras, Fenafuth and in the same one the details of the microcycle of previous work to games will occur both .

General outcry

One of the calls more waited for by the catrachos fans is the call again of the steering wheel Julio Caesar “Rambo” Leon, who has not been taken into account by the technical body of the representative national in the last commitments of the selection.

Wheel in its mass media declarations diverse, has not wanted to make official if “extroverted” the player will be taken into account for these two encounter before the Mexican trinitecos and.

What yes the coffee” trainer has mentioned “, is that the soccer player is in constant activity with his equipment and has demonstrated rise in his level of game.
Another one of the calls hoped by the liking and its good campaign in the Italian soccer football, is Edgar Alvarez, who accumulates four goals with Pisa in series “B” and it has also not been part of the two-color pencil in his you suffer commitments.

In addition to “Rambo and the Mosqui”, another one of the surprises could be Carlos Pavón, whom has recovered of the injury that in the last marginalized games of the selection in the passed Glass of Nations, celebrated in Tegucigalpa.

Uncertainty

One of the players more hoped by the liking in this listing that it will give Wheel, is the one of Julio “Rambo” Leon.
The great dilemma that has been created in the eves of this call, is if the selected one will put in list to the forwards David Suazo of the Benfica of Portugal and Walter “Peri” Martinez of the Native of Alava of second of Spain, due to the injury problems that they have prevented that these elements have participation with their club.

In addition to the problem of these forwards it is the case of the defender Victor Bernárdez, another soccer player who has had little activity with his equipment the Anderlecht of Belgium.

The third conflict of Wheel is in the performance of the three doormen who previously have been in the eliminatory process, Noel Valladares is the one who more activity has had and it has done it of intermittent way, whereas John Bodden and Victor Coit have played little and in his minutes they have left much to be desired as far as his performance.

Itinerary

As it is already custom in the technical body of the greater selection, the trainer Wheel has planned to carry out the microcycle of work in the city of Fort Lauderdale, where they will concentrate themselves from the day 19 to the 26 which they will start off in the direction of Port Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

The works in Fort Lauderdale, will be to double schedule and it hopes that the legionary players get up themselves between 23 and 24.
Day 27 has planned to make the recognition of the field of the stage “Hasely Crawford”, of Trinidad & Tobago.

The selection plays Saturday 28 and at the end of game they will return to the country, to the city of San

New men Who must start versus Honduras
« Reply #77 on: March 16, 2009, 12:59:26 PM »
Scotland up front, they man deserve the run, give stern a rest for missing the penalty.

I would also start leston Paul as the creative midfielder since yorke resting the man might bring some inspriration if not luck. Now is the time to take a risk or two. Key men suspended so take the chance on youth. I doing that before recycling whitley and bleeder.

Forward thinking.

Birchall called up
By Tim Dudding (seagulls.co.uk)

Chris Birchall has been called up by Trinidad & Tobago for their forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers.

The Soca Warriors entertain Honduras on the 28th March, before travelling to the USA on 1st April.

Birchall will link up with the squad after Albion's match at Scun thorpe this weekend; the midfielder will therefore miss the home match against Tranmere Rovers, but will be back in time for the trip to MK Dons.

Meanwhile, Andy Pearson has extended his loan at Bognor Regis Town until the end of the Rocks' season.

Crewe to be without Lawrence
crewealex.net

Crewe Alexandra are set to be without their influential defender Dennis Lawrence for the trip to the MK Dons and our home game with Millwall on March 28th after he was named in the Trinidad and Tobago squad for their CONCACAF World Cup qualifying matches against Honduras and USA.

Lawrence is to depart on Monday, March 23rd and will not return to Crewe until Friday 3rd April just 24 hours before our vital away game at fellow strugglers Swindon Town.

The clubs had listed both players as injured ...

Meanwhile ... man like Luis Arconada gehhin a healthy reception in Honduras this week ... he touch down fuh a few days to link some bredrin ... gehhin some media attention and saying Spain should have no problem getting to South Africa.
