Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones has said he is still not fully fit despite scoring twice in the 4-0 victory over West Brom on Saturday.
The Trinidad and Tobago international suffered a knee injury against England in June, and only returned to action for the Black Cats in October.
Jones told BBC Radio Newcastle: "I'm not quite 100% yet, but thankfully I'm getting there.
"I remember how long I was out so hopefully I can continue to progress."
The former Southampton man has also backed his partnership with Djibril Cisse, despite some critics suggesting the duo can't play together.
Cisse was also on the scoresheet in the win over the Baggies at the Stadium of Light and Jones said that proves they can be an effective partnership.
"I think Saturday should answer some of the questions by the way we played," said Jones.
"I can't explain what we have to do or what we should be doing - hopefully the fans can see it on the pitch."
