Jabloteh wins Toyota Cup
« on: December 19, 2008, 08:25:11 PM »
Goals by Trent Noel (beautiful free kick) and Jason Marcano (sweet left-footer from inside the box) were enough to give San Juan Jabloteh a 2-1 victory over St Anns Rangers at the Hasley Crawford stadium. Rangers were able to grab a goal from veteran player Josef "gouti" Peters, a deflected free kick. All goals came in the second half of a very stormy encounter that saw two players given their marching orders, by the referee - one from each team.

The third and fourth place game was entertaining(caledonia vs north east stars)Smithy(Conrad) and Tiny(Kareem Joseph) scored for cali and north east tied it up around the 90 minute mark, cali went on to win the game on penalties.
The jabloteh vs rangers game was equally as entertaining(apart from the player that got sent off from rangers, his tackle that led to red card and his behaviour after was ridiculous)

My number one question after this game was and still is...how is it that the #7 for jabloteh can't make/be selected for the national team?? especially with the deficiencies that the team has in the mid field department when the over seas pros are not in the squad ( he didnt stop running all game, reads the game well, was one of jablotehs engines in the middle, passes well, doesn't shrug off his defensive duty, leader on the field and can score goals.

I can’t speck for the organization but from talking to my father who was one of the founding members of Rangers every one from players to the coaching staff was disappointed because ranger pride themselves in discipline and what he did was a disgrace he also said that we should keep the players that got us to the final the Grenadian and Mc farlan did bring much to the team I pretty sure this guy will never play for us again.
