Real sad.  Imagine this man is persecuted for his sexuality, instead of the police searching for criminals, they use their time and man power to harm one of their own!

Indeed.  She also did a piece on a family of bleachers some months back... I really like the subject matter and quality of her reporting.


As for the cop himself... despite my own feelings on homosexuality itself I give this man nuff props for having the courage to stand up for himself.  He has a right to be himself in his "own country" as he rightfully put it.  With as much crime as Jamaica is dealing with you'd think they'd go out of their way to recruit and retain dedicated police officers such as him... but I guess ignorance trumps even basic common sense.
