Stadiums for the Brazil WC.

The renditions are awsome. But the stands are a bit far for the field. just like the Oval.

But anybody bother to check out murder rate in those cities?
It funny how they showing a bunch of mansions and high rises around the stadia. Developers ain't so stupid to pay premium price for land to build a stadium.
throw parties, not grenades.

anybody know why de capacity of de maracana in dem pics is only 86000?  I thought de maracana had a capacity of 200,000?

I think they cut it down to 86,000 so that they can charge more money. Plus the Maracana has not been fulling up as it use too 20 to 30 yrs ago. A lot of games, even the Rio derby(Fla/Flu), has been played in front of less enthusiastic crowds. Also it easier to control 86,000. They had already cut down seating to 130,000. because the Maracana had become decrepit and dangerous.
