Venezuela v Argentina on FSC.

Ven 1 - Arg 0 on a soft penalty call. Took 2 kicks to get it past the keeper though, not even 5 minutes into the game.

Hard luck dey Vene.
Argentina equalize.

A very measured pace to this game. More tactical than anything. If you rush in on either side, is all kinda small beat passing.

It have fools in the stands blowing whistles though. Making the game kinda confusing, While you wondering what stupidness the ref call, is because he ent blow that whistle.

The Venezuelan forward too greedy, 4 or 5 times he had the opportunity to pass the ball off to someone in a better position in front the area and he trying to beats 2 and 3 argentinians.

Every pass by Brazil is the best pass you ever see, every touch is sublime, even the jerseys is the best ever.

1-1 Paraguay against the run of play....tough deflection.

Brazil should have put this one to bed a long time ago....lots of wasted chances.

Even when Paraguay do something, Ray still find a way to talk up Brazil. "a Brazillian move to set up the goal"

Anyone else find the pace of the games slow. Two things I noticed, the teams are playing in quite a stretched field, deep defensive lines (not as compact). And the build up and passing seems slow

Ray back to full strength, He was sounding real depressed in the first half. but now he could talk about he boys.
He now say the goal scorer make him proud. Like he coaching the man, or is the man father.

I now watch Argentina escape from Ecuador.
At the end of the game a man get his ankle rolled on. Free kick outside the 18. Them men eh wait for the medicos to show up nah, they pick him up and carry him off the field and then went and take the free kick. I wonder if they know the ref does stop the clock for injuries?

Regardless, it had the wuss red card ever in that game. Ah man score a golazzo and run down the field with his shirt over his head. Ref give him a second yellow.

Other notes:

* Venezuela was the 2nd choice as hosts, but they running this tournament on only 2 fields. 35 games, 22 days, two fields.

* That ad for Brazilian league does real hype me up. It does make you feel like all other ball is 2nd division.
