if the west win, amare might have an advantage over kobe because they tend to give the hometown players the minutes.

well if the East win, lebron is the most likely candidate.  but any number could play oui: a man like ray allen might hit 4 or 5 3s in a row and win the MVP. 

both lebron and kobe being coached by their own coaches so they might both be wary of injuries.
