Man for man...Adriano is superior to Dog. Dog eh even bound to play. But it is all about the 90 minutes. Adriano could have a bad game, Dog could be inspired...who knows. Maybe Rangers defensive system could stifle the Inter attack if they get their tactics right. In the end, even if Dog and Adriano play, it will be a team effort. All things being equal, Dog not in the same class as Adriano...but we've all watched and played enough football to know that every Dog has its day

Yeah, i am skeptical too...and given Rangers' stellar record in Europe (heavy sarcasm), it could get ugly...

But like Filho says, you never know...maybe Dog will step up for the occassion...

Dog can shut him down, Dog winning everying in the air over adriano.
Adriano may out run him on the ground but in the Air Dog is dominant. Once he get past dog on the ground a next man will be covering so in the end he will Shut down the dangerous Adriano or at least contain a little bit !

Unfortunately...Adriano is a beast in the air too. No disrespect to Dog. I stick with my earlier post...you never know what can happen. Adriano is not even the deadliest striker for Inter at the moment...that would be a fella called Julio Cruz. I not saying Cruz better, I just saying he in form and Adriano eh tally since his hattrick on the first day of the Italian League season. PLus Obafemi score this weekend....You just cyah rest on Inter

Rangers would have to leave a man marker on Adriano and not allow him space but the only ting is Martins will be free.

I don't understand what you all are talking about. Adriano is the type of striker Dog could shut down the strong striker who does not run much and play a physical game.
If he have to mark Martins at any time that will be real pressure the speed he have will blow past Dog.
