Well I just saw the race for the first time and it didn't look good at all. His first 60m was average and the last 40m was rather shaky looking. Strides got short and he looked like he was really fighting it, with guys pulling away and passing him that shouldn't. Hope it was just one bad race. Like you said the only thing that is comforting me is that he doesn't have to be fully peaked in the next 5 weeks like his JAM/USA counterparts.

Pilar Mc Shine has been doing great up there at fsu PB 2:02.89, fourth best 800m time in America this season. Best

time by trindadian this season - i read melissa de leon did 2:04.57. Don't know why but i haven't seen any meniton of this

superb performance in the local media

PB in 5000- 16:35, 1500 - 4:20 and 800 - 2:02.89 can't wait for Nationals.

Yes finally a next good female!!! So far she is 0.01s off KAB seasons best in the 100m and at 22.95s she is better than KAB in 200m thus far. However KAB is running the 200m in Belem today and I expect her to run sub 23secs. Now the relay team is looking a bit better I wonder if they going and take Semoy Hackett off the first leg. Do you think Nandelle Cameron can now get a place on the relay team?

Their team did win the Div II champs and because these two have run these legs together on a regular basis they are familiar with one another and I think it would be fitting to have them do the first two legs on the T&T team squad with KAB running the anchor all we need is a decent bend runner some good exchanges and then it would be sub 43s probably about 42.90s.

Where have sasha springer/reyare thomas been? what times have they run this season? Yes i thought about putting Fana but she needs to do some real good training to get back to 11.2 form but the positive thing is that she knows when she is at her best she can run at least 11.12 and even faster. Where is Michelle lee ahye? I was so disappointed to see her not run at the Carifta Games.

That's great performances by Josanne Lucas and KAB(new PB into a slight headwind) puts her at 3rd fastest so far this year. Well done Emmanuel Callender he just needs to focus on improving getting closer to 10 flat. Laverne Jones Ferrette just seems to be getting better and better in the 200m.

Excellent results all around this weekend. Personal best for Callendar in the 100m and 200m. KAB in the deuce and Lucas in the hurdles. I am proud and I know there is more to come. Also to note running in the morning is not optimal for competiting as your metabolic system has not yet peaked, so they all have more to give.

Callendar will keep Burns, Brown and RT honest come trials, as I expect him to run sub-10.10.

KAB 200m times is now beginning to catch up with her 100m. Would love for her to make the finals in Berlin.

Inf. we know 2:02:xx is not elite level (sub-2:00), but for college that is a splendid run.

This is what 2:02:89 would have have her ranked in the past 7 NCAA seasons...

and in 2009 she is currently ranked 6. Me thinks that is a pretty good stat.

I forgot the NCAA performance lists don't include regionals and champs, but even then, her time has not dropped out the top ten.

NCAA is no standard for 800m women. When last you see America even mekking global finals?
