113/8. Batting power play is from over 40-43. Fidel has the 40th over.

Edwards gets his 3rd wicket, all via the pull shot. 117 all out. Just 41.3 overs batted by England... shocking stuff. Tied for their 15th lowest total set against Australia in Sydney back in 2003.

24 runs in that Mascarenhas over. Four 4s and six 6s so far in his knock. 50 came off of 27 balls. We need 40 to win from 36 overs. This is Twenty/20 stuff this is.

After 9 overs we are 91/1. England were 22/2 at this same point. I like this comment:

Quote
8.4 Anderson to Gayle, no run, slightly squared up out to the off side. Rubbish. Dot ball. Booooo

Nah, I got over excited.  ;D 94/0 is the correct score.

Gayle's still on for his hundred here. As long as Simmons doesn't do anything selfish, like score runs

These text commentators crack me up.

Like the guys heard David Lloyd, they're taking the batting power play.

Or I could be clairvoyant... 98/1. Gayle out for 80 from 43 balls.

Good comeback from Anderson - nice and full. But that was an innings of shock and awe from Gayle. Arrogant, breathless batting at its best and he's made England look forlorn, hopeless and really rather depressed.

Imagine with the threat of rain they've called for drinks. Then again, the pace Simmonds are Sarwan are going... plus we haven't even seen 20 Windies overs so if rain stops play now we can still have an abandonment.

They're back on now.

Bravo is man ofthe match for his 7-1-19-4. Took us 15 overs to get what England took 42 to make.
