Birchall and the whole team were excellent today, Birchy played on the right wing, caused their defenders loads of problems, just a shame he wont be playing next week!  ;)

Allyuh check it out!!!  :( Stern like he cyah see he way now

Selected quotes:

"Derby manager Phil Brown and striker Stern John came under fire from home fans at Pride Park during the 1-1 draw with visiting Leicester."

"Meanwhile, Leicester were turning the screw as substitute Mark De Vries and Hume threatened, although Stern John wasted a chance to give the hosts a lead against the run of play in the 69th minute."

"Home fans, convinced Peschisolido could have done better, responded with chants of "get him off" and when assistant manager Dean Holdsworth replaced the Trinidad & Tobago international four minutes later, there was ironic applause from the stands."

I wanna know why you people wanted Zamora? I've watched him play two weeks in a row and from what I've seen, I would take Stern "1/2 Slab" John any day over Zamora.  The man is garbage. That's just my opinion.

Birchall plays center mid for us.

He is the hustler and engine in the middle.

Although he gets a bit excited and he over pushes the ball and loses it regularly. He always tackles and closes down the passing lanes.

I would like him to score one of his trademarks Bullets in one of the upcoming games.
