Drogba had 2 perfect opportunities to put us ahead.

His first one immediately after Liverpool scored was really pathetic. One of the things I really respect Torres for is his finishing. Practically every goal he scores is of the highest technical quality. Drogba put the ball straight at the 'keeper. Steups.

The midfield getting eaten alive because Hiddink seems to subscribe to having Ballack in there instead of Mikel John Obi........my head bleedin' from scratchin' it so much.

How come Riera didn't get a yellow for that "professional foul" on Kalou?

That one I feel he was waiting for the whistle for offside that never came. He just hit the ball at the keeper.

T&T needs to watch this game, this should be their next session.

Yeah, since that Drogba chance Liverpool looking like they were going to concede. They still seem to be in control the litte I've seen.

I agree....liverpool are a more skillful team and they are knocking the ball well in maintaining the majority of possession. Chelsea need a couple of their players to step up to the challenges of this big a game (Ballack and Malouda are the first that come to mind) and liverpool look like they could be in trouble. A low-scoring draw does not bode well for Chelsea going into a home leg against liverpool. Any of us Chelsea supporters would be crazy to think otherwise.

The kind of room Liverpool giving Drogba near their goal means that all Chelsea have to do is continue to play good defense as far as this leg goes. That away goal is huge at this point.

Yeah, at a neutral venue against an opponent far less familiar. Obviously it's not impossible, but it's certainly looking improbable... especially given that porous defensive effort.
