Privy Council rules: ‘Trinity Cross’ unlawful
Francis Joseph | 8:52 pm

The London-based Privy Council ruled yesterday that the name of the Trinity Cross, the nation’s highest award, was unconstitutional. The Law Lords said it would be unfair to make the order retroactive, so the holders of the nation’s highest award would not be affected by the judgment.

Excellent news. It should represent the entire nation... not just the 'cross" bearers.

I would love to see it renamed the Eric Williams National Award!
