Alan Cabral (got it, Dave Cabral)
« on: May 14, 2009, 11:41:47 PM »
would he have played for the national side in '59? or another Cabral
He's not in Flex' database but I see a Cabral listed in matches vs. Barbados, BG and Jamaica.

And here I thought "me mum" was our very first Caucasian player. Isnt that what the media always says?

Little do they know. This is T n T.  We got it all.
P.S. Also good to see that that the team is no longer only represented by one of our ethnic groups but rather by all. We  even have an East Indian descended player currently in Jagdeosingh only if he gets selected. :D

That Cabral all yuh talking about, did;nt he play with Rovers from Belmont at one point. Skinny guy with long hear. Use to smoke tampie!!!

I also saw Peter Halfilde in that picture with Casuals. Fellas, PH was a rugged defender and a good header of the ball. He played with Maple with Tyrone in the back-line. One time that get a bust forehead. He come off and tie he head and back on the field. He, Cyd, Kellman Alexander and Avery all  in the same boat. Blade!!!!

Didn't know Rafie Knowles use to play, just knew him as the TTT sports announcer, enjoyed his reporting. Look like he memorise his whole report or use a telepromter.

Rafie was a top footballer in his day and legendary for his sports reporting and announcing.

Used no paper or teleprompter.

Raffie was probably already closing in on 40 when that photo was taken.

My earliest childhood memory is watching him do the Sports on a black and white TV :-)

This is interesting...I am wondering if this team was attached to the "Casuals Club" that existed around the QP Savannah back in the 80's? I use to go there as a kid with friends who are actually related to the Cabral's. Ring a bell for anyone?
