PORT-OF-SPAIN, Nov. 22, (Reuter)
SIR FRANK WORRELL has called a referees boycott which stopped football here last week for the first time in history "an indictment of the standard of sportsmanship in Trinidad."
Sir Frank said yesterday in commenting on the boycott, which ended today "It points to a lack of discipline by players and spectators.
"If we can't lose gracefully, we may as well stop playing sport."
Reminding youth that the golden rule of sport should be that the umpire or referee is always right, Sir Frank said, "if we remember this the transition from youth to adulthood will be very smooth."
