Bahrain drew at home, they now need an away win to be the smallest country ever to qualify for the WC.

Bahrain   0:0   Saudi Arabia

Spain      5:0 (1:0)   Belgium
France   1:1 (0:0)   Romania
Switzerland   2:0 (0:0)   Greece
Slovakia   2:2 (0:0)   Czech Republic
Poland   1:1 (0:1)   Northern Ireland
Croatia   1:0 (0:0)   Belarus
Austria   3:1 (2:0)   Faroe Islands

Big win for Colombia
Colombia 2:0 Ecuador
Peru 1:0 Uruguay

Nah, I don't think Ronaldo has played a decent game for Portugal since 06 against Holland. By the way why you seem so angry? You should be happy Chelsea start off well.

England players can flap their gums all they want as they talk up their chances, but they are a mediocre team at best! Their midfield continue to be unimaginative and one dementional  and most of their players are very overrated! Capello is a genius!

Not quite... If they beat the Saudis on Wed they will advance to another play-off with New Zealand. The winner of that home and away play-off is WC bound.

24th minute.....Brazil 1:0 Argentina.

Luicao bury a clinical header in the corner of the goal (to the 'keeper's left) off a free kick from about 45 yards out.

not exactly. maybe they want it too much.  conceding wont help either

2 nil lawd.  concacaf team may be meeting argentina.

poor tactics argentina trying to attack down the flanks and cross. thats english style ball. especially when your targets are messi and tevez and the brazilian defenders are very tall

....yeas they are/have been.  Yuh eh lie.....Confederations Cup really highlighted that.  Argentina playing (and getting away) with a little more physicality but Brazil will make them pay all the same!

From listening to the commentary off and on, it seems like Argentina just cyar see dey way....they are looking out of sorts....true??

Argentina was enjoying a spell of attacking possession for a good 10 of the first 23 minutes and Messi really showing why he so special, but they just couldn't get past Brazil's central defenders......uh oh!  2:0, Luis Fabiano!!
