Jamaica get so big for Concacaf that they gone to Conmebol?

might as well start playing warm-ups for 2014 from now.

So RF was de reason for JA doing so poorly in de Gold Cup?

some help for reggaeclown...

- bad food
- poor accommodations
- venues too far apart (traveling woes)
- not the strongest team
- field in terrible condition
- federation too poor and not giving the players what they need to win
- no coach
- bad ref calls
- TnT not playing so we have no motive to keep us going
- blame Jack Warner
- while you blaming, blame burrell
- and sepp
- we in the group of death
- we concentrating on 2014
- hurricane season coming so we have to focus on that
- homeland security prevented the goat reggaefan mascot from traveling with the team

Losing marginally (1-0) to canada and costa Rica is nothing to lose sleep over.
Its a tough group.

Disappointed, yes, but thats football. you win and you lose. and you draw sometimes.

And one would have hoped that the win could at least happen sometimes when it matters, to save you having to scroll your reggaefart diary once again for another list of predicatble excuses!  ::)

What excuses are you talking about? Like I said, we lost fair and square in both games, guys gave a decent effort, Cda and CRC are decent teams in their own rights. disappointed, but thats football isnt it?

Jamaica Tie Ecuador Last Night
« Reply #12 on: August 13, 2009, 09:54:55 AM »
good sign for us since we could very well meet ecuador if we get that 4th concacaf spot.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Dwayne Miller made seven saves in goal for Jamaica, and Jose Francisco Cevallos stopped seven shots for Ecuador in a 0-0 tie Wednesday night in an international friendly at Giants Stadium.

Ecuador appeared to score twice in the first half, but Carlos Tenorio's goal was waved off because he was offside, and Joao Rojas' score was disallowed because a teammate was offside.

A crowd of 23,523 attended the international doubleheader. In the opener, Venezuela beat Colombia 2-1.

Actually, Jamaica was able to get away with a tie only because Jamaica matched them Mano a Mano in the physical dept. they play a very aggressive brand of football, they have very large players. In many ways, bnoth teams neutralized each other out...the 0-0 tie tells the story.

having said that, there is a huge differenece playing a frriendly game with nothing on the line, on  neutral turf, as opposed to playing a world cup qualifying game on home soil. This same team,  minues a few players, recently beat Argentina in a World Cup qualifying game. Bottom line is, you cant play a "girly men" game agaianst a team that is as physical as Ecuador/Colombia.
