It has become quite clear,disconcertingly so, that we have adopted a penchant for conceding goals less than 10 mins into a game less that 5 mins before that half ,less than 5mins after the start of the 2nd half and/or in the last 10 mins of a game. Why is this? What can be done about this? This habit seems to encompass all age groups in our football, so it begs the question,"what can a coach do about it?". Is it a pattern in our social cloth and as such "cannot" be changed? Does fitness, physical and mental,play a part?
