anyone knows the details of the Adidas deal?
It must have cash somewhere in there. It can't be just equipment alone.

Also, why marketing is not doing their job and selling advertising spots on the practice shirts, shorts, bags, warm-ups, presentation sweat-suits, etc?

With all the designers (and mas camps) it have in Trinidad .... why isn't someone stepping up and funding appropriate formal wear for the team? When the team travels, they should look like professionals and dress like professionals. They will know that they going somewhere to do a job - and not take pictures and look like tourists who buy two bottle of rum in duty free.

acb,
They do were formal dress uniforms most of the time they are travelling. Even when I played for the youth team, DaCosta made our travelling uniform.

that's good to know - and I hope it's still that way. I based my comments on the footage that we're shown. Whenever the team is in the airport, it's one setta football gear they rocking as though they just come from practice.

I think that if you nurture a business-mentality, the psychological benefits can go a long way to sturdying the mental preparations of the players.

Make this a sticky thread til the players get paid and all the accounts cleared up after the World Cup (which will be about 2013 for the earliest judging from the last campaign)

good move on the part of the government to put some funds forward - now let's see if the TTFF can match it with a 150 of their own.
