'Customer' skips out on roti shop bill

A Chaguanas eatery lost close to $300 in profit yesterday, after its employees were duped by a fat and hungry con artiste.
The culprit, who is said to be short and portly, walked into "D"s Breakfast Shed and Roti Shop in Montrose before lunch.
He made a large order-three duck and four chicken lunches, and eight soft drinks.
He asked that the bill not exceed $300, said an employee, who asked that other businesses be on the lookout.
The man then ran off without paying. He was last seen dressed in a blue three quarter pants, a yellow t-shirt and sneakers. A report was made to the Chaguanas Police Station.
