Trinidad & Tobago named World Indoor team

PORT-OF-SPAIN: The 13th edition of the IAAF World Indoor Championships will be held in Doha, Qatar from the 12th – 14th March and Trinidad & Tobago, on Thursday, released their team.

The National Association of Athletic Administration of Trinidad and Tobago’s (NAAA) will be sending a team of three athletes and one official to represent the twin-island republic.

Managing the small contingent to Qatar will be NAAA’s President Ephraim Serrette.

The three athletes making the long journey with Serrette are 2007 Sportswoman of the year Cleopatra Borrel Brown (shot put), a two-time finalist in this event; 2009 World Outdoor Championships bronze medalist Renny Quow (400m) and Jarrin Solomon (400m).

The team departs on the 10th of March and returns on the 16th.

The only woman under 7.00 this year too and the favorite for Doha. Only Jeter is her comp and Jeter panics in finals and throws her drive phase out the window.
