realll hype around this youth...de man looking deadly infront goal tho, supposedly too he is a #10 and not a striker per se.    but on the real, that santander kit is ugly...but in an original kinda way.

Anyone have any insights about the 17 year old Neymar who plays for Santos?

Supposedly touted as the next big thing outta Brazil.

No, at this age now the few games i've watched online i think Neymar is already better. Might be good enough to make brazil's world cup squad for 2010 if he keeps scoring the way he is. Scored two last weekend in a 5-0 win cant remember against who though. Whateva u heard bout him its true except that he's the new robinho. He's the FIRST Neymar  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks....Only seen him play one game- good individual skill and confidence and I could see why the Robinho comparisons- still very inexperienced and physically underdeveloped so one game wasn't enough for me to get a good enough gauge as to where he might end up in say 5 years or so (plus I eh no expert analyst nor seer man  ;D).

Anyhow Omar sorry for hijacking yuh thread- back to Canales...

Realmadrid.com

Real Madrid C.F. and Real Racing Club Santander have reached a deal for the transfer of player Sergio Canales Madrazo.

The contract will take effect as of 1 July 2010 and will keep Canales at Real Madrid for the next six seasons.

The Neymar player from santos is a light skin version of Robhino.

He skinny but has good touch and can dribble good.

If he has a good season he will make Brazil bench for the cup.
