Sad, great opportunity and the man seems unprepared. Murat is one of the better Lt. Heavyweights in Europe.
I wish him well but if he loses you will hear them bitching about a lack of prep.
Sorry for Shawn good fighter who is getting on in years.

Corbin fights Saturday for title in Germany
Tuesday, January 26 2010
SHAWN CORBIN, the World Boxing Council’s (WBC) Light Heavyweight Cabofe Title holder will enter the ring on Saturday in Germany.
He will take on hometown favourite Karo Murat for the World Boxing Organisation’s (WBO) Intercontinental Title in Berlin and should the lanky Guyana-born Trinidad and Tobago based boxer triumph in the contest, he will earn the right to compete for the WBO or World Boxing Council’s (WBC) World title soon.
In addition to the numerous upcoming fights set on his agenda, the six-foot Corbin is also due to defend his Cabofe title in April.
Corbin recently took his tally to 13 wins, including nine knock-outs and just one defeat when he battered Barbadian Curtis Murray at the Central Regional Indoor Sports Auditorium, Saith Park Chaguanas.
On Saturday he will be hoping to take his record to 14 wins when he squares off with the German brawler. Murat is still to be beaten after 20 fights which also comprise 12 knock-outs. At five feet, ten inches Murat could find himself at a slight disadvantage against Corbin.
In a release yesterday promoter and international match-maker Boxu Potts said he is a bit concerned about that his fighter may suffer from jet lag when they arrive in Germany but he admitted that he knows a bit about how to deal with such a situation.
They will leave for the German capital tomorrow.
“One of the simplest way to deal with it is to go for a half hour jog as you get off the plane and then take a rest. Or, if the weather does not permit you to go for a jog, you skip in the hotel room for half an hour and then take a rest. So this is one of the scientific ways I can use,” Potts said yesterday.
However Potts insists that, in addition to the late call for the fight, his biggest problem is the fact that he had no where to spar in preparation for the big encounter.
“The gym at the Hasely Crawford Stadium is closed and the Amateur Boxing Association of Trinidad and Tobago, which has the mandate and the funding to open gyms in communities through out the country, have not done so,” said Potts.
He promised to construct a make-shift boxing ring for Corbin to do some sparring sessions today. He also gave the assurance that they will give their best shot at a win.
Potts said the lack of proper facilities is the reason for the lack of boxing progress in our twin-island republic.
