Swansea are very underrated

they play beautiful football...definitely expect them to finish in the top 7 of the Prem... EPL is so competitive compared to that joke of a league La Liga

It was a lovely game to watch from Swansea. This boy Bony is something special, Swansea even have strength on their bench. To see that Valencia finished 5th in La Liga only just missing out on Champions League Swansea tore them apart today

I notice Spurs wearing a jersey with AIA sponsors rather than HP so I looked it up.
Interesting story - different shirt sponsors for different competitions.

Also, Valencia is a weaker side this season having sold Soldado to Spurs amongst other departures. The replacements for this year come from mostly the lower leagues and the bench of other Euro sides.

Genk playing counterattack... but Hyland looking real good I fine. Very composed bringing the ball out from deep. Outmuscling and outsmarting the Dynamo men when on the ball. I ent see a bad pass yet.

He playing the deep lying defensive mid

Dynamo back them back now... but the back 4 standing strong.  5 mins left.
Hyland tiring a little but still putting in a shift.

WHAT A SAVE AT THE DEATH... Genk keeper make a point blank save and den scramble de rebound. last kick of the game.

Full time. Hyland and Genk win 0-1 over Dynamo. Good victory on de road in a hostile environment.

Let me put a damper on this crap one time.
Yes it's a good performance by Swansea but you epl fanboys so out of breath that neither of you managed to mention that Valencia were down to 10 for most of the game (80 minutes).
As for last season's 5th place finish, Valencia is currently in horrible form in La Liga, 16th in the table,( hardly last season's 5th place form) so now is the time to hit them.

And you fail to acknowledge that Swansea is currently 13th in the PL... and until they salvaged a point against Liverpool on Monday they were sitting in the relegation zone.

At any rate... allyuh fellas who now watching Swansea welcome to de show, especially since they break de bank to sign Bony.  He give Liverpool tears on Monday.

Genk beat Dynamo Kyiv at home today 3-1 to qualify for the next rounds.
Hyland played the full 90 and was unlucky not to score.

"And Khaleem Hyland was unlucky as Koval managed to keep out his 25-yard thunderbolt with 20 minutes to go as the home side pushed for a fourth."

Genk drew today 0-0 away from home with Anzi Mackhalakalaklalakakaka.

Hyland played the full game.

Genk and Anzhi play out dour draw
ESPN Soccernet

IIya Maksimov's red card brought some last-gasp drama to an otherwise uninspiring Europa league goalless draw between Anzhi Makhachkala and Genk.

The meeting of Russia's 16th-placed side and Belgium's sixth never seemed likely to produce a contest teeming with quality and the last-32 first leg clash lived down to those modest expectations with few clearcut scoring chances.

Anzhi had the better of proceedings without finding a way past Laszlo Koteles in the away goal, but ended the match with 10 men after Maksimov's dismissal in the 89th minute.

Genk managed the first attempt of the night when Julian Gorius tried his luck from 30 yards, but his effort did not worry Mihail Kerzhakov.

Fedor Smolov returned fire for Anzhi moments later, but his shot carried even less venom than the one that preceded it.

Anzhi began to set the tempo as the match continued, Rasim Tagirbekov striking wide from a corner on the quarter-hour and Alexander Bukharov heading just off target having met Oleksandr Aliyev's testing free-kick.

A blank half-time scoreline was almost averted when Jelle Vossen went clear for Genk, but Kerzhakov was on hand to save his side.

The second period followed a familiar pattern, with Bukharov and Aliyev pushing the home side forward only to be denied by a combination of Koteles and some uninspired finishing.

As in the first half, the visitors almost scored against the run of play late on - Fabien Camus' 25-yard drive kept out by Kerzhakov.

Maksimov's professional foul on Kalidou Koulibaly gave Genk three minutes of added time to make their extra man count but it was not enough.

Pogba had a solid game today. Sublime touches here and there accompanied by physicality when necessary.

Pirlo could spring a pass in his sleep. He must literally have premonitions of a divine pass to unlock a devilish defence. Today though ... aside from a lil action from the fans ... the Turks were angels. Relatively easy pickings for Juve.

Juve 2 Trabzonspor 0.

It was good to ketch Zokora, Bosingwa .. buh I eh make out Malouda. (Only caught the second half, what's de scene with Florent?).

Extra time.
I've never seen so many misses and wrong plays in such a wide open final.
men messing up one-on-one breakaways, two-on-one, keepers giving up long rebounds - that no forward can latch onto.
This must be torture for the fans.
