England will get kill with that shyte game they playing. Mexico is playing much better than England, but to laid back on set pieces. England playing to win as per Crouch/Rooney combo up top. England back four is a bit to slow and not as organize as they should be 2 weeks away from their 1st game.

An organize team like the USA will cause them great problems. As usual England has reverted to what they know best, long hopeful balls to the forwards.

England is very poor right now.

ah fed up see Mexico beat up on average teams..time fuh them to get some licks today lol

Mexico, despite falling victim to the consequences of set plays and situations that we are typically unable to capitalise on, is showing why they are superior to us. Among other things, they are composed and deliberate in their attempts at building play and getting behind the English defenders.

meh boy i will never dispute Mexico better than T&T and is also looking better than T&T in this game..that is a whole different topic lol

Well for one, Mexico has better composure on the ball and don't panic and "boom kick" when pressed by England.

Unlike a certain national team we know of course.

well keep in mind Mexico national team players believe they have the talent and what it takes to beat any team (including this game) so there is no need for them to go into a game in a "panic mood" unlike a certain team we know who may go into a game believing the opposition maybe too strong for them  :D

You right elan..A more organised team like the USA will give England much more problems in the group stage of the World Cup..if this is what England decide to play in SA

I agree with the general sentiment expressed here. However, decision-making has also been somewhat off ... a la Walcott playing Rooney in an offside position and even Rooney deciding to take on Rodriguez rather than return the ball across the face of the goal where a bona fide shot on goal was promising. I was surprised the commentators did not criticise him for this. My point is: these decisions could have been exploited to distort the scoreline ... we could have been looking at 4-2 or 4-3 at the half. However, even that would still favour England ... there's something to be said for winning and not playing at your best?

Every 4 years is the same story with Mexico. They will look real ordinary leading up to it, and then like they does flip a switch once the tournament start. So I not worried about them.

Ultimately, the outcome here (from a Mexican viewpoint) is that Aguirre keeps some cards close to his chest. He didn't enter the match with his most formidable line-up. He experimented with a few options and has to be closer to knowing who is excluded.

Even more than that, he's got to be fairly satisfied with some things today. In part, I think he'll make an assessment on the basis of how the incorporation of Guardado, Blanco, and others affected the rhythm of the game and creativity in midfield.

I can't say that South Africa comes away with any keys to denying Mexico in the opening game. Uruguay won't be able to execute in the same way as England because they are slack in transition. France? I foresee a few problems defensively for Mexico, but this could be blunted by Mexico's counterattacking ability. Definitely want to ketch that game.

No links, but if you have Verizon as your internet provider you should be able to watch the replay online at ESPN360.com

Decent game... Cech did some shit on the first goal, but other than that the Czechs came to play. Give the US credit their bread and butter are set pieces.

Tim Howard go have he wuk cut out for him in de WC because dat US backline is suspect.  Onyewu eh looking to sharp coming off that knee surgery, he needs more matches to regain his playing form and seeing dat de WC is right around de corner, ah don't think it go be enough time.

Corners, free kicks around de 18yd box and gritty play go be de order of de day, kinda reminds me of ah English Championship level team.

But as they say de ball is round and anything could happen.
