Because of Maicon.

Lemme ask a question. Is Maicon the best RB ever ?

Decent list- of course yuh could never get it 100% for everyone.

Based on more current form, I'd replace Terry with Lucio, Vidic with Pique, Kaka with Rooney...and squeeze maybe an Arjen Robben in there at the expense of Dani Alves...

The only player with half a claim to Messi's throne is also an unrepentant whiner who collapses to the ground after any contact.

Ahead of who?

On this season's performance he could easily be ahead of Kaka.

They don't play the same position.

Nice try....

But if you want to replace Kaka, then how about with Bordeaux's Gourcuff.  He had a stellar season and was the main reason they won the French League and got to the semis of the CL.

Milan must be ruing the fact they let him go to Bordeaux this season.

Watch out for him in South Africa next month too.

Small ting... I just going with one more forward and one less midfielder...

Maicon and Alves play the same position and they were both on the list...  :-\

To me Kaka was really poor this season- I understand that he was playing alot of the season with a hernia.... don't think he should be on a World XI unless yuh picking it based on the last 3-5 years...

Yuh could put Lampard, Robben or Sneijder ahead of Kaka if you want an attacking mid.

If you check out the magazine with Drogba and Ronaldo on the cover inside they have players posing bareback  including Donovan. He is such a little punk that he chose to pose bend over so that he wouldn't expose his wimpy little body and probably tiny package!
