Very little chance. Iread elsewhere that is his elbow and not his forearm. Once the elbow immobilized there is no way to play.

Drogs is a sad loss.

Just read that Ferdinand is out for good too, so I guess Dawson might get a call-up.

heres the video...that was a clumsy challenge on the defenders part. from drogba's reaction of the injury....it doesnt look good. but we could hope things are ok.

if he doesnt make it on de pitch, theres kone and doumbia. both decent strikers. who knows one of them might be the dark horse.

didnt realize until now that bakari kone didnt make de cut. none of these strikers can be put on drogba's level.

Essien, Drogba, now John Obi Mikel....all out of the tournament. This WC is falling to pieces for me before it even start!  I find once teams reach the point where their final 23 have to be declared.....and players make the kinda tackles that that japanese whale hunter made on Drogs to potentially put him out of the tournament (especially in a pre-tournament FRIENDLY!!) then he should get put back on his ship and sent home, withOUT a replacement!!  Leave dem wit a 22-man roster in dey ass!! There was no excusing that tackle.....even if Drogba may have contributed to his injury with that dramatic fall to the ground....

Ah guess he forgot it was a friendly hence the dramatic fall to the ground. :devil: As much as I don't like them when they play for dey clubs I am sorry tuh see dey out for dey countries. Takes away from the quality of their country. Plus the little f^ckers will all be refresh for the new season!
