Cameroon seem to lack a game plan. They playing like T&T on a good day.
LOL. I was thinking the same thing.
Of course, the truth is, that they probably have a good game plan. But men have to execute. Then there is also the small factor of the other team trying to negate your strengths.

Eto'o seem to be on the wing to provide quality service for someone else who could hopefully score. Their real problem is that they best striker is also their best passer.  If Eto'o could cross it to himself, they would be in business.

Geremi should have come on much earlier. To allow Eto'o to move into the middle.
The man providing quality crosses. Japan keeper earn he keep. he didn't know anything about the one that hit the crossbar though.

Cameroon look like they just hand out Jersey and say leh we sweat. Disjointed and lacking in any coordinated ideas going forward. Just long ball (or should I say direct) forward for flickons or mistakes. Then they seem to give Japan so much room in MF, if Japan had a genuine striker they could be very dangerous.

No Kameni in goal??

Yeah, where was Kameni?

Is he even on the squad?

They could still blame the vuvuzela.
Or perhaps they could mark the man on the far post...

sry guys eto fail to inspire this team. i feel he does try to do everything himself where at milan he can trust anyone to make a pass... oh well its only one game and they have 2 more games to play, they can get out of this group if they really want to, they have the home croud and the players imo.

Sigh. Disjointed.

As expected....Etoo effectiveness was limited as he wasnt in the middle. De amount ah times i bite back a cuss. Just utter slackness...men doing rubbish at critical times. Dah bullet woulda look bess. Shoulda do better. Coulda do  better. Now they have it all to do against Denmark and Holland. Sigh

I cyah ascribe it totally to E'too not being in the middle. On this game I think Roger Milla has a point. There were moments in the game when E'too didn't take responsibility for generating play. As dynamic a player as E'too is, there were limited moments of him trying to achieve/attempt movement or penetration. There were other moments when he was great at support play, but dat alone eh go geh it!

One of the reasons why ARG is successful is because they play thru Messi ... what so hard about varying the static approach. Paul LeGuen eh leave me wid no kinda confidence. How yuh go look at aerial direct play over and over and 'low it when it eh getting yuh diddly.

On top of that, that armband may be a weight fuh E'too ... many things.

P.S. I had a real problem with the degree of possession Cameroon had invested in Assou-Ekotto ...

Reminded me of Dwarika with less end product.

And I still will maintain that eto'o being wasted on the flank.  De quality of players at Inter or at Barca where he could fit in there different.
