2010 World Cup All Star Team
« on: June 12, 2010, 05:13:21 AM »
So far left wing player Siphiwe Tshabalala (South Africa) is on my list, apart from the sweet goal he scored vs Mexico his touch, passing, work rate and crosses were excellent. But it early yet, only one game, so we'll see.

Of all the big name star players. IMHO Messi is the only one so far to look the part.
He did not score, but he was beating men at will, was creative and forced several
great saves from the opposition goalkeeper. Far more than what was done by Rooney,
Ronaldo, Kaka, Xavi etc.

Agreed.  The only one that has so far lived up to any billing coming in.

That said....is only 1 game.  More time for others to come through

BTW...yuh forget to add Landon Donavan in yuh list

I thought Giovanni Dos Santos looked pretty good. He was a handful for SA. He is one to watch.

To me Robhino showed flashes of brilliance but was never an impact player like the way Messi performed thus far...and this is coming from a Brazilian fan.
