First game of the season against Standard Liege and wat a brilliant first half by hyland summed up by his goal in the 34th minute, first of many this season i hope. Brilliant passing and off the ball runs. 1-0 Zulte at half time

he now get a yellow... he playing holding mid... but not afraid to get forward.. and dirty

Standard Liege is a top team in Belgium and they are de home team to boot

Hyland get a yellow for knocking heads with a next man.

Some bacchanal with the keeper before that holding onto the ball and running into a striker who was just standing there trying to draw a foul???

True but he putting in crunching tackles when he playing in dat deep-lying role and he on ah yellow now. Hope he can hold his head 4 d last 18 or so minutes

Good match, Khaleem was to blame for d equaliser but based on his first half performance i give him man of the match. First game of the season, fatigue was to blame for the average second half

Yeah it is and his aim this season was to get off the mark this season and he did in the first game thats why i expect more

True., his aim was to get on the mark this season and possibly go on a run. Good to see his progress. Hope he stays the entire season in Belgium bcuz a move in January will probably spoil his rhythm. I expected at least 8 from him this season bcuz he take up ah more attacking role but based on his early performances he could possibly surpass that. Next season? CHELSEA but only if he axe steve davies
