YES - weather will be awful so times are not likely to be good all around, but I mean in terms of his competitiveness.

Not a case of jumping ship, just calling it as I see it. Blake has progressed quite a bit since Richard beat him in NYC, and the gap was only 0.03s then. If Blake could compose himself at the start and stay close to RT at 60m, he will out finish him.

Richard has however shown that he could step up when necessary ...he seems to be constantly the underdog even after his last race ..dont you think ? He is a racer ...got his head on right ... it is not only about speed it is about Handling speed Intelligently .

Gordon has already peaked for the season as evidenced by his times getting slower and slower. If his coach knows what he is doing, he should end his competitive season now, to allow his body to regenerate, before starting to train to the commonwealth in October.

Blake isn't gonna beat Dix if he gets out well.
Richard to me doesn't appear as dangerous a competitor as he should be because the ending of his races always leaves the door opened for his competitors to get back into the race.
Until he improves his transition from his drive phase and gets stronger (like his competitors are obviously doing) he will always be vulnerable  :(

Saying something???? Richard has to live in the gym this winter. Look at the the amount of core stabilization that Gay achieves in comparison to him from the side-by-side replay. Boy has no  power through his hips. Blake and Dix will soon leave him behing IF he does not do all that is necessary to get the job done....mark my words
