Windies selection criteria has gone back to 30 years ago and more,I hope that needs no explanation.I cannot believe that Sarwan could be dropped from a present day Windies team, the man is probably the second best batsman in the Caribbean and is the best player of spin, remember we are going to SL.It is also surprising that Ramdin who at his worst is still better than both Baugh and Thomas, imagine no place for Deonarine and Rampaul,Shiv will soon be gone and if Barath does not keep the scores coming in he wont last too long.Mr.Gibson has a lot to do with this shit and I would be hoping to see SL white wash Windies on account of the stupidity of our selectors. How can Pollard not and make such a team,I feel the time has come for the break up of Windies cricket, just like the Federation of the 50s.

Apparently Rampaul is the only Trini in ah 13 man A team to play a couple games against Pakistan A
Andre Samuel, who controls all the rights to the phrase "ah love it!!"

This team is completely flawed.  The problem with appointing Darren Sammy as the captain he now must play.  Dwayne Bravo is the inspirational leader of the team and the best all rounder in the WI, so he cannot be omitted. With two all rounders, that essentially weakens the batting line up unless Dwayne and Darren lift their batting and and bat consistently well.  Lendl Simmons would have been a better pick than Devon Thomas as he is a better keeper and batsman than the two wicket keepers were selected.  Do the selectors plan to rely on Roach and Pascall or will they play Russell with Roach because of Russell's better batting skills.  It hard to understand how this team was selected.  Finally, there is no justification for omitting Sarwan from this team.  Given the team we, the fans have been handed, this is my first eleven:

Chris Gayle
Adrian Barath
Darren Bravo
Shivnarine Chanderpaulr
Brendan Nash (Vice Capt)
Dwayne Bravo
Darren Sammy (Capt.)
Carlton Baugh Keeper
Shane Shillingford
Nelon Pascall
Kemar Roach

Reserves:
Sulieman Benn
Andre Russell
Devon Smith
Devon Thomas (Wicket keeper)
Never, never, ever give up! Go T&T Warriors!

you are talking about 500+ runs will be leaked in sl.

butts, gibson and the wicb are attacking certain players and it will only result in west indies losing badly

sl will eat their food with that bowling attack, the batting is weak as well and sammy is no captain

i hope the ttcb take note of this and realize its time to leave this structure

yes there is

there are huge question marks about his attitude, he's not fit and even looks overweight imo

If and that a big if,we manage to draw or win this up coming series,WICB will be looked upon as geniuses, well if which is more likely it goes the other way,all board members including the selectors should step down
I can see some members of this squad having some good sessions, however being victorious is not in the cards

WHEN THE SO CALLED LAEDERS HAVE NO VISION THE PEOPLE PERISH

That being said I wish the players well
