This one might actually track into the gulf and eventually hit the US. The only storm I've seen this season that reminds of the big storms of 2005. It's just kind of late in the season to get that kind of strength.

honestly if pple had followed the system from early o clock and checked the NHCC site they would have known that it the path never really looked like it was going to hit trinidad..Here in grenada we were in the initial path. Set off real panic here among the students (esp the non caribbean students) who have absolutely no idea what going on. The rumours flying around would have been funny if they didn't have so many people believing them.
I glad it eh hit here since I have exams monday!
Up to lunchtime on campus people still thought the storm was going to hit direct. Really disappointed in SGU keeping students updated
Back in Trini...

Now veering north like it has it's eye on Haiti.

This one might actually track into the gulf and eventually hit the US. The only storm I've seen this season that reminds of the big storms of 2005. It's just kind of late in the season to get that kind of strength.

As you can see Haiti is now in full hurricane warning, Jamaica, Eastern Cuba in storm watch.

Now veering north like it has it's eye on Haiti.

Looks like it will be weaker than predicted earlier, tropical storm only winds as it passes between Haiti and Cuba now. Haiti still on Hurricane warning though, Kingston now on Storm warning.
